Terms of Service

Zoe's Legacy is a remote psychiatric service dog training platform. We provide structured training curricula, educational resources, and expert guidance to help individuals train their own dogs to perform psychiatric service tasks.

Zoe's Legacy is not:

• ›A mental health provider, therapist, counselor, or psychiatric service.
• ›A VA-affiliated program or VA-approved training provider.
• ›A dog placement program — we do not breed, place, or transfer service dogs.
• ›A certifying body. Completion of the Zoe's Legacy curriculum is evidence of training progress and may support documentation for VA benefits or public access purposes, but we make no guarantee that any government agency, housing provider, employer, or airline will recognize or accept our training records.
• ›A legal services provider. Nothing in the Platform constitutes legal advice.

The content on this Platform — including training materials, resources, wellness check-ins, and any guidance provided by Isolda Reyes or other staff — is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and does not create a therapeutic or clinical relationship of any kind.

Psychiatric service dogs are a recognized support tool, but they are not a replacement for professional mental health treatment. We strongly encourage all users — particularly veterans managing PTSD or other mental health conditions — to maintain their relationship with qualified mental health professionals, the VA, or other care providers alongside their service dog training.

We are not responsible for any health outcomes, decisions made based on Platform content, or interruption of care that may occur in connection with your use of the Platform.

If you are a veteran, active duty service member, or military family member:

• ›Zoe's Legacy does not replace VA mental health care, benefits counseling, or crisis services.
• ›Training records from the Platform may be used to support VA benefit documentation at your discretion, but we make no representation that the VA will recognize or approve any particular training outcome.
• ›If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact the Veterans Crisis Line immediately: call 988 and press 1, text 838255, or chat at veteranscrisisline.net.

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• ›Provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting a contact form.
• ›Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• ›Take full responsibility for the training and behavior of your dog. Zoe's Legacy provides guidance — you are the handler and are responsible for your animal at all times.
• ›Not misrepresent your dog as a trained service animal in public before it has completed the appropriate training standards.
• ›Not share, resell, or distribute proprietary training curricula, materials, or content from the Platform without written permission from Zoe's Legacy.
• ›Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the patent-pending curriculum or platform methodology.
• ›Not use the Platform in any way that could harm other users, third parties, or animals.

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to the six-level certification curriculum, task training protocols, wellness check-in methodology, training videos, written guides, and the Platform's overall structure and design — is the proprietary intellectual property of Zoe's Legacy LLC.

The curriculum and platform methodology are the subject of a pending patent application. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any proprietary content is prohibited and may constitute infringement of our intellectual property rights.

The Zoe's Legacy name, logo, and brand assets are trademarks of Zoe's Legacy LLC. You may not use them without prior written consent.

We believe in this work deeply — but we cannot guarantee specific results. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• ›Zoe's Legacy does not guarantee that your dog will successfully complete any certification level or pass any public access test.
• ›Zoe's Legacy does not guarantee that any housing provider, employer, airline, or government agency will accept your dog as a service animal based on our training records.
• ›Zoe's Legacy does not guarantee eligibility for VA benefits, disability accommodations, or any legal recognition of your dog's service animal status.
• ›Training outcomes depend on many factors including the dog's temperament, your consistency and commitment, and your individual circumstances — all of which are outside our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zoe's Legacy LLC, its founder, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, personal injury, property damage, or emotional distress — arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Zoe's Legacy in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at ireyes@zoeslegacypsd.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Zoe's Legacy community.

We do our best to keep the Platform available and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience resulting from Platform downtime.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
